Dr Igor Tabrizian
Integrated GP
Dr Tabrizian was born in London and is a fully qualified and registered medical practitioner (GP) who graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Western Australia (UWA).
Dr Tabrizian’s professional work and undergraduate studies have provided him with a variety of experiences prior to specialising in integrative medical care. These include working in hospitals in Australia and abroad for 14 years before venturing into private practice, focussing on general medicine and anaesthetics. His training includes Hospital General Physician Training, Hospital based Anaesthetics and Intensive Care. Dr Tabrizian specialises in complex medical problems that standard general practice would usually refer to a General Physician.
In 1999, he began to specialise in nutritional medicine and has written many articles, books and e-books on the topic, most notable being, “A Visual Textbook of Nutritional Medicine” and “How to Read a 21st Century Hair Analysis” for medical practitioners. He lectures regularly and is involved with mentoring for local and overseas practitioners in the specialty of Nutritional Medicine.
Education continues to be a central element of Dr Tabrizian’s medical practice, both on an academic level and during consultations with his patients. In fact Dr Tabrizian empowers his patients through education, allowing them to fully understand the causation of their illness and the process to be undertaken on their healing journey.
Dr Tabrizian recognises the benefits of working with a team of professional Naturopaths at Your Optimal Health Centre. Whilst Dr Tabrizian delves deep into the drivers and causes of your illness, our Naturopaths develop and oversee your dietary and treatment protocols.

Emma Wisbey
Integrated Naturopath
Since graduating from the Southern School of Natural Therapies in 1997, I’ve had a fulfilling career as a Naturopath, including a decade working with a leading Australian nutraceutical company, educating and supporting practitioners. While I’m skilled in all areas of general naturopathy, my passion lies in mental health, especially childhood behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, and sleep disturbances.
As a mother of three children spanning varied ages, I naturally attract clients who are parents or families navigating modern challenges like disrupted work-life balance, mother guilt, and dealing with fussy eaters. I deeply understand these demands firsthand.
My approach to patient care is versatile and flexible, tailored to each individual’s needs and circumstances. I believe that even the most challenging health goals for families can be achieved despite the daily stresses we all face.
For practitioners seeking mentorship, I offer a personalized approach that supports your growth in clinical practice while aligning with your unique style, strengths, and values. Drawing from my 25 years of experience, I provide practical guidance and flexibility to help you build confidence and develop your own identity in clinical practice.
Daniela Equid
Integrated DietITian , Sports DietiTian
Daniela is an experienced Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD), certified eating disorder clinician, and intuitive eating counselor with over a decade of experience. She specializes in guiding individuals and families, including picky eaters, toward a healthier relationship with food. Starting her nutrition journey in 2012, Daniela continuously updates her knowledge with cutting-edge nutrition research and has broadened her expertise through training in psych nutrition, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Motherhood transformed Daniela’s understanding of nutrition. When she faced her own child’s picky eating and societal pressures, she realized that food experience is more than providing nutritious meals; it involves environmental factors and the emotional experience around food. This led her to embrace Intuitive Eating, a science-based approach that empowers individuals to trust their body’s wisdom and honor both emotional and nutritional needs. Unlike traditional diets that focus solely on physical health, Intuitive Eating emphasizes mental, emotional, spiritual, and financial aspects of health.
Today, Daniela practices the Non-Diet Approach and Intuitive Eating. Her methods promote body trust, reconnection, and skill-building. Daniela helps clients decode the messages their bodies send and encourages them to embrace their unique food identity. Through gentle nutrition, she aims to foster a positive relationship with food that transcends diet culture and supports long-term well-being.
